Domaine Le Zantak: camping and evenings in the Saint-Paul highlands
A family-run eco-friendly estate at 700m altitude with panoramic ocean views. Tent pitches from €5, kabans from €50, themed evenings, group meals, and the option to hire the whole estate for the weekend.
Unlike the island's other free wild-camping areas, Domaine Le Zantak is a private, eco-friendly estate run by a local family team. Set in the Saint-Paul highlands, in the Bois de Nèfles area, it offers several options: tent pitches, equipped kabans (Creole cabins), group meals and themed evenings.
Panoramic ocean views, at 700m altitude. The estate follows an eco-friendly approach: solar power, dry toilets, tank water. It has parking for up to 40 vehicles, and full weekend exclusive hire is available. For those travelling in a camper van, the ground is firm enough to park on site.

An experience between camping and a family evening out
Le Zantak is about more than basic camping: people come for the atmosphere, the evenings, the group meals. It's the sociable option, ideal for a night with family or friends, with local hosts on hand.
The estate is known for its home-cooked Creole meals (min. 10 people), its seasonal music evenings, and weekend exclusive hire for birthdays, work retreats or private celebrations. Capacity is deliberately limited to preserve the atmosphere.
