How a booking works on the site
Sous Les Étoiles 974 doesn't sell anything directly. The site points you to partner platforms that handle the booking, payment, voucher and customer support. Here's how it all comes together, step by step.
The price you pay is the same as booking directly with the partner platform.
No payment data passes through Sous Les Étoiles 974.
Confirmation sent by the platform straight to your email.
From the listing to the activity itself
The process is the same whatever the activity or accommodation. The only thing that changes is which partner platform takes over after you click.
You find an activity or a place to stay
From the Activities hub, the Accommodation page, a themed article or the search bar, you land on a dedicated listing. Every listing shows the duration, level, best season, price, meeting point and several photos.
You compare several deals on the listing
When the same operator is offered through several platforms (Manawa, Funbooker, Civitatis, Viator, etc.), I flag it and explain the differences. The goal is to point you towards the right operator at the right price.
You click the booking button
The "Book", "Check availability" or equivalent button opens a new tab to the partner platform. You leave Sous Les Étoiles 974. From that point on, the partner platform (Manawa, Yescapa, Discover Cars…) takes over.
You finish booking on the partner platform
Date, number of participants, options, payment: everything happens online on the partner's site, with its own terms and conditions, secure payment system and customer support. The price shown is the final price.
You receive confirmation by email
The partner platform sends you a voucher or confirmation by email, to show on the day. Sous Les Étoiles 974 doesn't receive this voucher and has no access to your personal details or payment information.
On the day, you show up at the operator's
The meeting point is on the voucher and on the site's listing. If in doubt, you can check the Sous Les Étoiles 974 listing, which usually repeats the details and any specifics (parking, arrival time, gear to bring).

“As long as you're on Sous Les Étoiles 974, you're on my site. The moment you click ‘Book’, you're on the partner's.”
The editor's role, the partner's role
This split of responsibilities avoids confusion if you have a question, a doubt or a problem with a booking.
Sous Les Étoiles 974
- Selects and presents relevant activities, places to stay and services for planning a trip to Reunion Island or Mauritius.
- Compares offers across partner platforms and points out which one to follow, case by case.
- Keeps listings updated throughout the year (prices, time slots, operators).
- Answers general questions about the site, its editorial content and its method.
The partner platform
- Takes payment and issues the voucher or booking confirmation.
- Manages cancellation, change and refund terms.
- Handles customer support for the booking (contacting the operator, disputes, delays, no-shows).
- Guarantees the protection of the personal data you provide when booking.
Cancellations, changes, a problem on the day
The most common scenarios and the right person to contact for each. When in doubt, contact the platform you booked with first.
Cancellation or changes
Cancellation terms (often free up to 24 or 48 hours before) are shown on the partner platform at the time of booking and on the voucher. Requests are made directly from your account on the platform or by email to their customer support.
Activity cancelled by the operator
Bad weather, a safety condition, the operator pulling out: the partner platform notifies you and offers either a reschedule or a full refund. No money is kept if the cancellation comes from the operator.
A problem the platform hasn't resolved
If the partner platform doesn't respond to your request within a reasonable time, get in touch. I'm not a party to the contract, but I can raise the request with the partner account dedicated to Reunion Island. This is done on a best-effort basis, with no guaranteed outcome.
Spotted an error on the site
An outdated price, a meeting point that's changed, an operator that no longer exists: report it by email with the relevant URL. It's genuinely useful and gets fixed quickly.
How the site is funded
Sous Les Étoiles 974 earns affiliate commissions when a booking is confirmed with a partner platform after a click from the site. The percentage varies by partner and type of offer.
This commission is paid by the platform, not by you. The price you pay stays exactly the same as what you'd get booking directly, without going through the site.
This doesn't steer editorial selection. When a non-affiliated operator offers better value, it gets mentioned. See the About page for details of the method, and the Partners page for the list of platforms the site works with.
